What a WONDERFUL find! Food was fantastic, service was fantastic, and the restaurant was so clean and the bathroom was immaculate. Very impressed! We will absolutely be back!
**Update from our last visit, We stopped by Sofritos again and had wonderful service and amazing food! This time we got the tostones and paella and it did not disappoint. This is definitely our new favorite Latin restaurant.** We just happened to stop in while visiting from Florida. Best food ever! We were seated pretty quickly, and staff was so friendly and kind. We had the ceviche, cuban pork bowl, And the shrimp and lobster Mofongo. It was all so delicious, with big portions for leftovers to take home. We’re relocating to South Carolina and Sofrito is now on the list of our favorite restaurants.
This restaurant serves authentic Latin food. The hostess/waitress’s accent is definitely Latina and the food tastes like the dishes I’ve eaten at my father’s house in Hialeah! I highly recommend this restaurant! The atmosphere is family friendly but also has a full bar with 3 big screen TV’s tuned to major sports games.
Sofrito always delivers the best, most flavorful Latin food and the whole team there is so nice! I love the Latin bowls and their guacamole. Portions are generous and there are still so many things on the menu I want to try!
2nd time for us to dine at Sofirtio. We catch it as we are passing through, so it's been a while since our first visit. IT'S NOT MEXICAN, and it's SO GOOD. I think it's Dominican-ish. I've had the Mofongo before, and today, I ordered the Latin Bowl with Dominican braises pork with ripe plantains (maduros) on the side. My wife had Ceviche and tostones. It's worth the price and trip. Looking forward to our next visit!
We had a great time at this Sofrito! The vibe was awesome, and the staff were welcoming and attentive. They have a nice patio, which added to the experience. The food was incredibly fresh, and the drinks were perfectly made. The desserts were outstanding, definitely a highlight! Overall, it was a fantastic dining experience, and We will be back for sure.
The food is amazing! If you love authentic Latin (caribe food) this is the place to go hands down! Generous amount of food , and their mango mojito is one of the best. They even have a vegetarian section on the menu for those of you that do not eat meat. Their mixture of music makes your dinner experience a delightful one. I highly recommend giving it a try!
Came here tonight with family and if anything this review is for our sever, Lilly- she was phenomenal! She was attentive and energetic, provided us with fast service and good recommendations and was kind to our young daughter. Guacamole was fresh. The mofongos were amazing! The chicken was good but the pork was excellent. We will be back!
